Every day I make it a point to celebrate all of the risks that I've taken, especially during this pandemic. Every leap, every plunge, every catapult. I am proud.
Running a brief PD on class culture and community tomorrow, centering on trust building as visible classroom community & culture. Referencing/rereading @MisterMinor’s “We Got This” with a coaching lens and it continues to be just so damn good, esp. around authentic listening.
Reminder that tomorrow evening, Yom Kippur begins. It ends Thursday at sundown and many Jewish people have a family meal afterwards. If you're an educator, be aware! Also if you want to give holiday greetings, don't say "happy Yom Kippur." Try "have a meaningful fast" instead!
