@NBCNews Well living basically on a giant sandbar/swamp in an active hurricane zone—- how can they NOT expect this. Same as living in a earthquake,floodplain, tornado alley. Kind of expected at some point. Still sucks for the people-but stop developing areas that shouldn’t be overdevpld

@NBCNews overdevelopment. but I guarantee you, the same people that lost everything will rebuild if at all humanly possible, only to tempt the fates & relive the carnage. Mother Nature cannot be controlled.
