@NetZeroWatch @jordanbpeterson @cmackinlay Just ask Germany how much they love their current rising Energy prices.. But yes, let's shut down all the nuclear power plants, go 'green', and import energy from other countries.. 🤡
@NetZeroWatch @cmackinlay What are you as an MP attempting to intentionally mislead? Present cfd for renewables is far cheaper than wholesale prices & far cheaper than gas As confirmed by the LCCC. £39.5nwh was the last cfd auction rate. Next cfd auction will be similar. So why intentionally mislead.
@NetZeroWatch @cmackinlay Rubbish. The strike prices agreed Contracts for Difference auctions for new renewables are far below current wholesale prices. Existing renewables are actually paying back income above strike price which will help lessen energy price rises generally. lowcarboncontracts.uk/index.php/news…
@NetZeroWatch @cmackinlay And the cost of not getting to net zero will be your grandchildren future.
@NetZeroWatch @jordanbpeterson @cmackinlay At the end of the day, the price for avoiding net zero will be the end of the day.
@NetZeroWatch @cmackinlay Factually wrong, and damaging to British national interests. What is it about Tufton St that makes decent people into dangerous fools?
