@Chicago_NFL So wait. Why would u take that trade if some of the other players weren’t ready to engage? The longer u wait also puts pressure on other GMs to meet your demands. Draft day is when u have optimum leverage. Why would u take a NEVER BEFORE early trade of #1 giving up leverage?
@Pitchforks222 @Chicago_NFL Because as time goes on the GM’s probably become less enamored with the prospects and cool down their trade offers. Because you don’t turn down a fantastic deal that gets you an immediate playmaker just in case someone else gives you one more draft pick in 2 years
@Pete_Martuneac @Chicago_NFL If anything u get their worst offers early cuz they haven’t had pro days & teams visits and there are many options before free agency. Closer it gets to draft day time is running out building pressure/urgency. Poles could have got more. Moore =Brandin Cooks (prime)
