@AudreySuffolk I think that people claiming a trans belief or identity can be protected under the characteristic of “religion or belief”. That protects them from unfair discrimination for employment or housing. FWIW I do not believe that anyone is genuinely trans but then I don’t believe 1/2

@AudreySuffolk @DuncanHenry78 No human can change sex. The GRA 2004 provides a legal fiction that people can change sex. This is harmful to women and children and actually not particularly helpful for those who choose to “transition”. If the law produces such foolish impossibilities it is bad law.

@AudreySuffolk Policies are giving priority to the PC of gender reassignment over the other characteristics. The fear of litigation by people claiming a trans identity is pushing commercial organisations to prioritise men’s feelings over women’s safety. We have to repeal the GRA and amend 1/2
