After saying yes to interviews with the Jaguars and Bears, Jim Caldwell reportedly said no to interviews with the Vikings and Raiders. wp.me/pbBqYq-cbsM
@ProFootballTalk I would like to correct an erroneous report that I turned down opportunities to interview for the head coaching job with Minnesota and Las Vegas. Those reports are not true (Full statement below).
@ProFootballTalk There is absolutely no upside to the Vikings or Raiders jobs. Both are up against the cap with mid-tier qbs on expiring contracts. The Jags and Bears have promising young qbs on rookie deals.
@ProFootballTalk If he doesn’t get a head coaching position and Josh Mcown does what a joke!
@ProFootballTalk This makes all if the sense in the world to me. NFL coaches have more success when armed with elite talent at QB. There are exceptions but the exception does not make the rule. Ask Bruce Arians who had mediocrity in James Winston and got elite QB talent in Tom Brady. #VerySmart
@ProFootballTalk Making stuff up again Florio? #FakeNews
@ProFootballTalk The Entire NFL Interview Process is A Joke! GOOD FOR HIM!
@ProFootballTalk Lmao, imagine saying yes to Jags and Bears and no to Vikings and Raiders?
@ProFootballTalk He's going to one of those teams. Why should he interview any further?
