Re-watching the Chiefs "franchise" episode on the SB and one thing that stuck out this time is how GASSED both teams were by the end. Especially on defense. That was just an incredibly well-played, hard-fought game.

It feels like we'll reach a "bubble popping" moment for WR contracts, especially as more and more good WRs flood the league... but it may be slow since you can have 3-4 on the field at once and there's a domino effect in terms of how they affect coverage...

I'm curious if a collateral consequence to the absolutely booming WR market is that we won't see massive returns for elite receivers in the trade market. Hard to justify trading (Hill trade example) a 1st, 2nd, 4th, 4th, and 6th and THEN paying a WR 30+ million a season.
