We're still a solid 3 weeks away from the shortest day of the year but a daylight milestone is reached today with our last sunrise at 7am... rises now coming in later until than that until February 7th - if you can believe it!
We're advertising rain for tomorrow but honestly it holds off through the daylight with an evening arrival time. Most of the day is decent and seasonably mild in the 50s.

We've had a decent stretch of temps over the holiday but not we're looking for just one day in the 50s this week with more 40s in the extended outlook. #readywx
We use to lose daylight at about 2 1/2 minutes per day early in the month... that loss is slowing to closer to 1 1/2 mins per day now that we're approaching the shortest day of the year - the Winter Solstice! Tomorrow's sun comes with temps near 60.
Holiday time 60s are rare. W/ the potential of 60 tomorrow I took a look back in the books ~ Thanksgiving to Xmas time frame. Since records started in 1871 we've had at least 1 holiday time 60 occur in 31 years... & so on as shown. Standout on the list is 1998 - 7 days in the 60s
Funfact today now includes low temps dropping down into the 20s as normal... those average lows bottom out at 16 degrees from January 21st-26th #winter
Just a bit of a westerly breezy out there today but with plenty of sun most spots will make a run at 50 this afternoon!
Lovely stretch of weather to get out, get that tree, put up the holiday decorations or get some shopping done... look for showers to work in again Sunday morning.
Couple isolates showers/sprinkles still pinwheeling across parts of the area... couple other wet weather chances in the extended outlook. Details at 4/5pm @CBS58
On this mild Thanksgiving, interesting to note the warming trend for this time of year looking back over the last 50 years.
Get a load of these temps right now!
A touch of rain possible tomorrow with temps warmer than they've been in recent Thanksgiving holidays

Travel weather leading up to the holiday is quiet for the heart of the Nation. Here's current delays and trends at the major hubs
Bit of an early season snowy stretch... we didn't get 2" of snow until the end of December last year.

Much of the Nation looks quiet leading up to Thanksgiving, including here in Wisconsin... I've been watching a system that's northern edge could brush us with a few late day rain showers. Otherwise, a quiet and less frigid week is unfolding. #readywx
