This week, the Supreme Court blocked one vaccine mandate but upheld another. Both are equally harmful to the economy and to getting back to normal. So what’s the difference? It came down to the basic question: did Congress give the President the authority to do it?
OSHA sets occupational safety standards based on hazards a person might face in their individual job. A lineman climbing a tower or a welder on an oil rig face different hazards. Congress gave OSHA the power to set specific safety standards for both.
@RepDanCrenshaw "harmful to the economy and to getting back to normal" encapsulates all conservatives care about: Rich people's money and dogmatic resistance to change
@RepDanCrenshaw @DanCrenshawTX This guy claims to be pro-business and doesn’t think large businesses should have to protect their workers during a pandemic that’s killed over 800,000 Americans. Sick workers impact the bottom line and the economy in general. But, apparently playing politics is more important.
