You cannot remember Dr. King and dismember his legacy at the same time. To celebrate him is to support voting rights, a livable wage, and health care.
@ReverendWarnock If you care about higher wages, let go of your pacifier ‘Minimum Wages’ & listen to my advice as someone who’s actually RUN large enterprises.
@ReverendWarnock @2vocal2000 She can - Hypocrisy is her superpower.
@ReverendWarnock Dr. King was an educated man who valued education. I taught 33 years. A great way for black people to honor his legacy is to encourage their kids to do himewor, pay attention in class, & take education seriously. Parents should read with their kids, take them to museums, etc.
@ReverendWarnock I cannot believe that in 2022, we still have to fight for these basic human rights. Our own President will not act thru exec auth on initiatives like #CancelStudentDebt to close the wealth gap.
@ReverendWarnock His “Beyond Vietnam” speech encapsulates his total mission. His love of God and love of humanity. Thank you @ReverendWarnock may you continue to serve our great nation as a Senator. Peace be with you!
@ReverendWarnock I also find it hypocracy to constantly refer to the "founders" intentions. We know they intended to allow slavery in order to form a single republic, gave 2 Senators to every future State and set about drawing borders of new States to maintain veto power for slave States.
