“They can have [Joe] Rogan or Young,” Neil Young wrote in a letter to his manager and label, “Not both." Young demands Spotify remove his music over "false information about vaccines" rol.st/3nXPaML
@RollingStone Neil Young doesn't care about the money. I remember years ago he said he didn't care if people downloaded his music for free. It's all about the music.
@RollingStone “Ain’t singing for Pepsi Ain’t singing for Coke Ain’t singing for nobody Makes me look like a joke! This notes for you.” Neil Young. Love that guy
@RollingStone Neil Young blazed a trail that many followed. I continue to follow that trail, my only question is where do I go to for easy accees to Neils music now ?
@RollingStone dear @Spotify - choose Neil Young.
@RollingStone An investment firm owns 50% of all rights to Neil Young songs. They bought those rights for $150 million. I'm not sure how this will pan out, but I'm guessing it'll take a few lawyers to figure out if Neil can even demand this.
@RollingStone All life's decisions should be this easy. "Well I hope Neil Young will remember, Spotify don't need him around, anyhow."
@RollingStone I promise....... 50 years from now, people will still listen to Neil Young's catalog everyday. But 50 years from now people will barely remember who Joe Rogan was. Bet that
@RollingStone It is really disappointing that Spotify chooses to allow Joe Rogan to broadcast dangerous misinformation in the middle of a pandemic. I like listening to Neil Young, facts and science...so I cancelled my Spotify account.
@RollingStone Neil Young = Calling out right wingers since 1970. youtube.com/watch?v=l1PrUU…
@RollingStone Ya’ll know Neil Young contracted polio as a child in the 50s during one of the last waves or the virus right?? Of course he would be against BS misinformation spread by Rogan during a pandemic that could potentially have long term affects on children
