Today brought us sad portal news and it honestly reminded me that just two years ago, the only portal news we got was sad portal news. CU lost 24 players to the portal that year (most of their good players) and only added 5, none of which were 4+ stars. We’ve come a long way.
Multiple things can be true at the same time: 1) I’m bummed about Dylan because he’s has a super exciting style, was an easy person to root for and I think he’s going to have a great career. 2) I still wish him nothing but success. 3) I’m not worried about this team at all.

@RyanKoenigsberg @Phondonkey Been saying this for weeks. I don't want to see a trade back and then a QB. If he's a franchise QB in Sean's eyes, you draft him at 12. If he's not, you don't draft him.
@RyanKoenigsberg If they trade back it means they don't love a QB that falls to them. It'll be the same as drafting Drew Lock but with a better coach. It means they won't actually care too much if they miss out on someone. No way you trade back when you really want a guy

@RyanKoenigsberg They can't really whiff on yet another QB or we'll still be here in 3-4 years and need another HC so if the guy they want is in this draft, they just need to go and get him if he's attainable. Don't gamble, just get him. If he's the guy the price won't matter in 3 years.
