NASA's Steve Stich says two valves have been removed from Starliner. Will be sent to Marshall Space Flight Center for analysis by a CT scanner. This is to find the root cause of Starliner's valve issues.
@SciGuySpace Space mafia will only need a billion dollars of procurement to resolve this one.
@SciGuySpace Rediculous, SpaceX would have had the valves replaced within 3 weeks
@SciGuySpace Eric, be straight with me. Is the patient going to survive?
@SciGuySpace Send the imaging and analysis to Boeing. This should not further cost the US Tax Payer additionally.
@SciGuySpace @LifeboatHQ We don’t want another “O-ring” reality
@SciGuySpace It took all this time to remove the valves and send for analysis? 🤯
@SciGuySpace So still clueless on cause. Slip sliding away. You have to give @BoeingSpace credit, they must have the best lobby organization in DC.
@SciGuySpace But it doesn't sound like they are really looking at where the humidity came from with that.
@SciGuySpace Hmmmmm. Sounds like they have severe problems if they have no clue why the valve is failing.
