I thought she might take it down so....
Just a reminder of the importance of education.
(Tempe Union is also a school district, just in case you're researching.)
@GinaMarieSLP A public health threat requires the public's participation to bring it under control. Mitigation measures don't work when people say, nah, I don't feel like it.
When you opt out, you put me at risk, and you don't get to do that.
I-10 EB, MP 89 (just outside Tonopah): A serious crash is blocking multiple lanes. Please be prepared to slow down.

@KaylaM2989 You really don't follow my page that closely do you?
In Florida and Texas, the exact same battle is playing out over masks in schools.
Both govs blame the Biden admin for the rise in cases in their own states as they dismiss CDC guidelines.
Weird... it's almost like they're all following the exact same playbook....
One year ago today, the governor's office unveiled the infamous "parachuting hot dog" campaign, designed to encourage people to wear masks and prevent the spread.
With a more contagious version pushing cases upward, the governor maintains we don't need to mask up.
@JOCombsUSD relaunches its COVID dashboard....
showing active cases in all but two schools.
12 active cases overall.
Props to all districts who are willing to be transparent about COVID cases in schools.
In July of 2020, AZ was dealing with a different virus than the prevalent strain in July 2021.
New CDC data shows the Delta variant is far more contagious, even among vaccinated individuals.
Ducey's stance: we only need the vaccine. The CDC is clear: we need masks too.
July 23, 2020... Governor Ducey issued an executive order directing schools to develop mask policies in accordance with CDC guidelines.
July 27, 2021... Governor Ducey stood firm against school mask mandates, calling CDC guidelines "unnecessary" and "unhelpful."
@tthecat_az Do you see a possible "single subject" challenge to the law itself?
@ValleyBulldog18 I wouldn’t assume the district is going to spend any money on legal fees. They’ve already anticipated the first court filing. There are plenty of ED organizations willing to defend this on behalf of their members.
There are constitutional issues to be settled here.
The state will have to explain to a judge why it wants to criminalize the public health recommendations of the county and state health departments and the CDC.
It will be tough to say, “I’m listening to the experts.”
Phoenix Union HS District defies gov on mask mandate.
There have been calls to challenge the law by ignoring it or going to court. This district may be the test.
Will the state sue a local SD for masking up?
Stay tuned. abc15.com/news/state-of-…
Here's a handy template for my trolls to create snappy tweets on the run:

You're welcome. (Make sure you don't use your real name)
I am seriously considering adding "Spreader of Fact Porn" to my profile.
@kactuskaylorx4 It's both. Vaccination provides protection, but doesn't always prevent transmission.
Studies show cloth masks provide a barrier that reduces transmission 50-75%.
You wear a mask for the same reason you sneeze into a tissue. It's not that complicated.
"Fear porn" is the conspiracy catch phrase of the day.

As we reported last night at 10:00....
Rural districts face more challenges if COVID spreads.
An outbreak can quickly shut down a school, with no one to "fill in" when people get sick.
And all of it completely preventable. twitter.com/rociohzz/statu…
This gives you an idea of what rural communities are left with after the Federal Government leaves town. #Telegraphfire
