“But if McDonalds workers get paid more, my sandwich might cost more!” So you admit that you understand your prices as a consumer are maintained through the mass exploitation of workers, and you’re ok with that. Interesting.
@SturmNextTerm But the truth is, it won't change the prices
@SturmNextTerm Same ppl who whine about China & want to ban Chinese fr universities yet go to Walmart and buy all those Chinese goods b/c they're cheap-They won't buy American b/c American made goods are more expensive-Gee, I wonder why. Damn corporate greed.
@SturmNextTerm I don’t understand why people bitch about a higher minimum wage when the CEO’s make over $5000 an hour and get a compensation plan worth 10 times the average employee makes a year.
@SturmNextTerm Denmark: min wage: $22/hr, Big Mac: $5.15 newsweek.com/minimum-wage-1…
@SturmNextTerm How about mcdonalds make less profit and keep prices same with raise
@SturmNextTerm That’s bullshit because McDonald’s makes billions of dollars and it’s real simple to oh give 1 billion back so the price of the burger won’t increase in your employees can get paid right. It’s not inflation it’s greed
@SturmNextTerm My son in laws exact point of view regarding raising minimum wage to $15.00 He's an electrician. He earns $150,000 a year yet despises the idea of someone making $30,000 to $40,000 yearly that he refers to as menial work. Republican of course.
