My parents are from Ireland.If they went to the palace and SH asked them what part of Ireland they were from they would tell her and not be offended. Unless the member of staff was 'ashamed' of where she came from; then, that's on HER
@psychopigeons @scobie @Sistah_Space If, they are among a sea of people of colour, and if one of the host makes a beeline for your parents and proceeds to ask them and refuse to accept their answers, to these line of questions would be deemed prejudicial and racist.

I have those question 1000 times not offended . But if you are tranautised but other topics I can understand why questions like that will blow you
