Both things can be true: 1) Jalen Hurts has shown enough to be the Eagles QB in 2022 and beyond 2) The way this offense is currently designed is, at times, hurting his development
@GrahamBarfield People don’t want to be rationale on Hurts. Easier and more popular to shade him always…
@DBro_FFB Microcosm of this website these days
@GrahamBarfield @DBro_FFB I just think Hurts’ upside is Alex Smith/Teddy Bridgewater. Hurts is only the starter in Philly past his rookie contract if they can’t find someone else. The team will not be okay with a 8-9 win game manager as an upside. I don’t see teams spending $25M+ for that upside
@ScottHevel @GrahamBarfield @DBro_FFB Did you just pull two randoms names out of a hat? Hes nothing like those two
@Jase2542 @GrahamBarfield @DBro_FFB Guess you missed the comment earlier where I clearly stated they were not similar in style. Teddy and Alex were both replaced despite their team liking them. That will be the case in Philly.
@ThaEagleBearer @Jase2542 @GrahamBarfield @DBro_FFB You just listed 6 QBs all drafted top 15 in their respective classes. Jalen was drafted at 53… and Jalen had 56 starts at power 5 level. Can’t say he’s still learning how to be a QB like those you listed. One last time, Jalen is good but he’s not the future in Philly
