@OutdoorFinance @ChrissyK_Rez It's backed by an enormous amount of energy that comes from the miners. That energy secures the network and ensures that transactions are fair (no double-spends). It also backed by consensus of the superior monetary policy (absolute scarcity, i.e 21 million supply) by the nodes.
