Anthony Richardson has "the most upside of any player in the draft," writes @RomeovilleKid. In @TheAthleticNFL's beat writer mock draft, the Colts chose Richardson over Will Levis to become their QB of the future. More: theathletic.com/4327828/2023/0…
@TheAthleticNFL @RomeovilleKid Disagree 100%. Amazed people can't look back at last 20 years and see physical freaks drafted that never amounted to anything. He is inaccurate, ball placement issues. Bust IMHO. I would take Levis, who is far more developed, played with less, and could play quickly.
@TheAthleticNFL @RomeovilleKid Let me add that I am blown away that a guy can be more of a runner than an accurate passer, does well in drills, and he has now become the new Andrew Luck? If physical was everything, then J Taylor would be best QB on team. Makes zero sense.
@TheAthleticNFL @RomeovilleKid Super high ceiling, extremely low floor for a potential top-5 pick IMO.
@TheAthleticNFL @Landon3MR @RomeovilleKid Controversial take: Levis isnt a first rounder. But neither is AR. Thankfully for them the need is there for teams.
@TheAthleticNFL @RomeovilleKid Agree 100%. He has amazing traits and under Steichen's wing can become a truly elite QB
@TheAthleticNFL @RomeovilleKid "Upside" doesn't mean anything if you never "get there"
@TheAthleticNFL @RomeovilleKid Agree. Unique size and speed. Rocket arm Ran a poor scheme at Florida, so it's kinda hard to evaluate compared to CJ who has 4-5 NFL receivers and QB friendly system
