Liberalism has underpinned Western democracy for more than 200 years. Where did it come from, and are its days numbered? #OpenFuture
@TheEconomist @zannymb Hopefully, the days of liberalism ARE numbered, just as my subscription to the Economist is — no longer able to abide your quasi-intellectual, pedantic rants.
@TheEconomist Superb! Well done! Bravo. Can't wait for the next chapter
@TheEconomist No, actually you're WRONG. Democracy originated w America.. which was led by perseverance & enterprising FREE Market Capitalism. Spinning any other truth is a false facade, just as its not promoted that America is a Constitutional REPUBLIC, nor that Republicans ended slavery.
@TheEconomist Classical liberalism. The liberalism of today is much more akin to tribalistic authoritarianism. We must recapture the moral and intellectual underpinnings of our civilization if it is to survive.
@TheEconomist @zannymb The media is comical!! you are part important of the Democratic system, you are part of the problem and you try to mislead the debate, exonerating the media responsibility for this crisis
@TheEconomist @zannymb Democracy has allowed central bankers to legally rape & pillage the globe. Abolish the IMF, BIS, BOE, Fed Res, ie entire central bank FIAT-based fractional reserve system which transfers wealth from middle class to fiat-wealthy, oligarchic, fascist, imperialistic parasites.
@TheEconomist Resounding. Concise. A strong wake up call. A jolt. I thank the universe for the blessing that is this magazine.
