Melvin Ingram played 6 games for the #Steelers. Here's why he was so upset: First 3 games: 158 defensive snaps (1 start) Last 3 games: 88 defensive snaps (0 starts) 18 pressures in a part-time role, but Steelers didn't seem to want to use him. They mismanaged the situation.
@TommyJaggi Mik Tomlin is overrated. Spread the word
@TommyJaggi Yes they did. And he was promised snaps just like #92. We have precedent with this. Many FA only lasted a year and were upset on how they were lied to.
@TommyJaggi He had a 86.8 PFF Pass rush grade and 19.0 pass rush win % which is higher than Highsmith current win rate of just 11.1%.
@TommyJaggi For some reason they just don't value depth at this position and it continually bites them.
@TommyJaggi Can we stop with this? Ingram has been slightly above average. That’s it. SH has more sails this year than Melvin has accumulated since leaving the Steelers.
@TommyJaggi So you’re saying the Steelers are stubborn on how they use their players. Can’t agree more
@TommyJaggi I feel like I watch all the other good to great teams and their depth is way better than ours. Then they wonder why the team falls apart in December. They used to have good depth but that’s a thing of the past. They hold on to meh guys and don’t do anything to improve it
