4 days agoSEVEN cop cars (one was late & not pictured) at an action today organized in response to landlord Medallion’s neglect of repairs.
Where is this energy when landlords mistreat tenants? Or are we simply not as important to the city as the interests of wealthy corporations?

6 days agoA #throwbackthursday post from the Toronto ACORN archive.
RentSafeTO was a huge win in 2016, but in 2023 the program is sorely underfunded and ineffective in protecting tenants against predatory landlords.
