We love Bookmarks for saving Tweets to revisit later. Starting today on iOS, you’ll now see the total number of times a Tweet has been bookmarked on Tweet details.

Starting today, you’ll get a heads up if a Community Note starts showing on a Tweet you’ve replied to, Liked or Retweeted. This helps give people extra context that they might otherwise miss.

To be clear, two-factor authentication is still not required to log into Twitter, although we highly encourage users to enable it. This change just restricts the 2FA methods available for accounts not subscribed to Twitter Blue.

Effective March 20, 2023, only Twitter Blue subscribers will be able to use text messages as their two-factor authentication method. Other accounts can use an authentication app or security key for 2FA. Learn more here: blog.twitter.com/en_us/topics/p…

We regret any confusion this has caused and are working to resolve this issue as fast as possible. Any erroneous verification requests will be resolved once we get this fixed.

Some of our users have posted or sent URLs that were flagged as suspicious in error, which leads to a verification request. Once verified, Likes will be restored, but this process may be delayed.

Pardon the interruption! iOS users may have experienced some trouble using Twitter earlier. Things should be back to normal now.
