A new annual tax on billionaires’ unrealized capital gains is likely to be included to help pay for the vast social policy and climate package being finalized this weekend, senior Democrats said on.wsj.com/3BeMZIq
@WSJ The petty whining about this from the billionaires affected -people whose obscene, royalty-esque living conditions would literally be completely unaffected even if you took 99%+ of their wealth- is going to be so precious so entertaining lol
@WSJ Redistribution of wealth, only catch: it's ultra rich to the not yet ultra rich. "oh it's only for a very small amount of people" but just high enough to not be including themselves...
@WSJ this Fake Tax- will reverse when IOB & IOT are launched- & will NOT repair the damage "climate package" will make globally 4the profit of few in the #GreedCult taxing human biometrics & flatulance❗️ instead of worrying about 🌎ending in 2030 ask China to stop deep sea trawling❗️
@WSJ Essentially the Congress is trying to buy from the future to pay for the current expenses. How can you tax someone for gains not yet realized? Essentially Congress will have to give back the taxes if the gains do not realize in the future, because stock values go up and down.
@WSJ This is crazy. Now the Congress wants to tax something that is not real. What next? Tax all your future income now based on some hypothesis? It is an easy sell to say we are going to tax billionaires. Do you know the paper billions can disappear in no time? What happens then?
@WSJ They say a tax on unrealized capital gains of the wealthy... Rest assured they will do it to everyone in no time!
