This nation was built on peaceful protest. No elected official should lose their job simply for raising their voice – especially when they’re doing it on behalf of our children.
Please stop using “third world countries” to describe nations that are struggling in large part due to the trauma and generational impact of white supremacy, imperialism, and colonialism. Let’s not use the phrase, period.
Why should communities seeking a connection with their heritage, have to replicate cultural objects that were looted when the original objects are locked up in museums abroad, making it difficult for them to access & connect with? See Ngonnso in Germany and her replica in Nso.
True story and as an African-American being aware of that history is with tears me up.😓 "It's people, it's diamonds, it's rubber it's gold & it's oil." Africa was the foundation of so much wealth! And in certain parts of the continent it's still being taken advantage of today.

Nice, I must say my favorite African hero is Shaka Zulu. He revolutionized the Zulu Kingdom growing it. He had quarrels with family which led to his death , but He revolutionized African warfare of that time protecting his kingdom as long as he could against the British.
