#49ers had 7 pressures and 1 sack vs. Aaron Rodgers in Week 3. Rodgers got the ball out in 2.38 seconds (second fastest) that game. Ryans, Kocurek and this defense has to hit Rodgers more than that if they’re gonna be successful.
@akashanav I think our downfield coverage will be in better position to help the pass rush hit home more often.
@akashanav They will a lot more. That’s the recipe to beat the pack
@akashanav The difference will be not allowing 3 costly defensive PI to just give the Packers 80yds +. Not playing Josh Norman will be huge.
@akashanav The good thing about playing week 3 is that they will problly come out with the same game plan since it worked. Now we need to adjust and figure out a way to hit rodgers.
@akashanav they will and the dbs have improved since then
@akashanav You can't hit a QB getting the ball out that fast. You have to make him hold the ball. To do that, you have to play man. You can't do that vs. Adams all game long. This is why this is an intriguing match-up. This will be Chess.
@akashanav Well the game plan was to get the ball out quick with the WR screens and Reg Screens. When the D finally adjusted, they slowed it down. Rodgers was just Rodgers to end the game. Don’t get it twisted this is a winnable game.
@akashanav Unlikely to hit a QB in 2.38 seconds. They question that I have is will they play press coverage in order to make Rodgers hold the ball longer… it will be interesting…
@akashanav I was listening to a Packers podcast and they were talking about how GB could use Adams in a short, quick passing attack to throw the defense off. Rodgers knows he can’t stand back there or he’s dead meat.
