@alexandrosM I think she misspoke to the point of getting misinterpreted. Probably what she meant is the old saying that it takes a village to raise a child but children still should belong with their families, at least for those who have family.
@alexandrosM hold up - I kinda agree with this idea. I'd let my neighbor that I trust, raise my kid. What if it was neighbor(s) I trusted? Not sure this is entirely bad. What if neighbor #3 taught my kid about DC circuits and I couldn't?
