LA and Phoenix, wow I’m still buzzing with adrenaline from those past few shows. LA has always felt like home to me. Phoenix, you were so gentle with me. These past few shows have been very special so thank you.
To me categorisation feels reductive but regardless I wanted to take a moment to celebrate the wonderful kaleidoscope of music some of my favourite women have made. Here’s a selection of tunes from some earth shattering albums made by some earth shattering artists. @AlbumDayUK
I missed National Album Day by a hair’s breadth because I was either asleep/thrashing around on stage for you angels - this years theme is Women In Music - gender, categorisation in music, femininity, etc can throw up a million different feelings and rightfully so.

I felt really free and you released this torrent of energy at every single one of the shows. It was incredible. My mind was a little bit blown. To be so far from home yet again and have that kind of welcome is something I don’t take for granted so thank you.
Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, I really discovered, well rediscovered a sense of home during these shows. Finding poetry books and crystals for my mum and my friends in Portland. Listening to Nirvana on repeat obviously in Seattle and running around San Francisco by the water.
Salt Lake City, we basically just played a house party and it was incredible. Chicago, had the famous pizza. Loved it. Minneapolis, wandered around for hours and looked at all the stars on the wall, saw Prince’s motorbike. In Denver, there was this real cozy divey atmosphere ✨
Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver, Salt Lake City, you guys greeted me with a wave of excitement. I was having a tough few days, feeling a little bit run down and every time I stepped into those rooms I felt completely uplifted. I felt like I’m soaring.

In other utterly frustrating live related news, the Vancouver show is cancelled due to COVID related capacity restrictions in Canada. My team worked tirelessly to try to find a way to put the show on safely but we couldn’t manage it.
Heyo everybody - the venue for the Seattle show on Sunday is changing from The Croc to Chop Suey! This means there are an extra 150 tickets now available, snag them quick before they’re all gone - those hands better move fast!! 🍄
