I realize that I am not being perfect about it but I am really tired of people at church talking about the pandemic in a context of not living in fear instead of a context of caring and protecting each other
@tyepose While yes, there are radical people out there that think that way, I personally feel the rmessages and things I’ve heard from the church are not being ruled by or consumed with fear. While I understand your point and see your POV, what more do you think the church can do?
@arrowstewtoe @tyepose Close down. Y’all care about your patrons so much then why put their lives at risk for an hour service that could easily be watched from home?
@arrowstewtoe I don't think you get what I mean. You are right that the messages are not ruled by or consumed with fear, but there should be *some* fear. Fear is not entirely bad, fear is meant to alert us of danger and if I'm being perfectly honest the current messaging is kind of reckless
