Just watched a great wee film that I’ve wanted to see for ages. Trees Lounge; starring, written and directed by Steve Buscemi. Superb cast and Buscemi totally nails that small town, alcoholic, waster whose life passes him by while he waits for his pint to settle.

Another great album cover, another great live album. The Velvet Underground are on top form here. Nothing hurries them, the songs take as long as they take. That doesn’t mean they are subdued though, most the music crackles with an energy more powerful than their studio versions

@batcountry1980 A great film. Depressingly realistic as we all know a guy like Tommy, and we all know those day-drinkers bars where life just slips away from people.
@batcountry1980 I rewatched it recently, noticed the great scenes and super cast. My favorite Argent song is used in one of many bar scenes. Also, the drunk at bar is Rockets Redglare, the fellow suspected of being the one to stab Nancy.
