Seems like everything's coming up Gastr del Sol! First, an archival boxset (We Have Dozens of Titles) and now, bday wishes for the album that launched Grubbs n' O'Rourke's brief-but-enduring collab. 30 years hence, you're still cracking our heads open, Crookt, Crackt or Fly!
We just did our first Gastr del Sol interview in 27 years. (Where did that quarter-century-plus go?)

The last few days of working with Luke Fowler have been multiply enlightening. It was a rewarding challenge to work with recordings from Brunhild Ferrari and great to see Luke's film "N'Importe Quoi (for Brunhild)" -- hope we'll have the chance to present a similar program again.

What is going on here @BarnardCollege @Columbia? How does a student with no disciplinary record suddenly get to a suspension less than 24 hours after a nonviolent protest? What merits asymmetric crackdowns on Palestinian human rights protests?
i’m an organizer with CU Apartheid Divest @ColumbiaSJP, in my 3 years at @BarnardCollege i have never been reprimanded or received any disciplinary warnings i just received notice that i am 1 of 3 students suspended for standing in solidarity with Palestinians facing a genocide.
My campus, my neighborhood- Columbia under police control today - sacrificing everything a university stands for to satisfy a bunch of right wing politicians.
Columbia should not be calling the cops on its own students for engaging in nonviolent protest. The university has a long history of respecting free speech on campus, and I support the faculty who are pleading with their administration to continue that tradition.
