@BrandNew_Mary Much as I loved TNG, the way that Picard characters were unceremoniously dumped to make way for the cast felt like a step backwards. An ending with Laris in Jean-Luc's life would have been a more meaningful last chapter in the characters' lives than a poker game.

@straczynski Equally, when quiet, introverted, reflective children are often told this phrase - as if being introverted is a moral failing - loud, confident, people are often in their comfort zones anyway. If they were quiet, listening, shrinking, they’d hate it. But never told to try it.

This bit of comics movie casting is as good as any Avenger and if you disagree, you are wrong.

@bonelesscomics1 Also, Lian Harper is Roy Harper’s *daughter,* not his son. Lian is currently a costumed young hero going by Cheshire Cat, but we have a few panels in the past (pre-Flashpoint) of her in a size-appropriate Speedy costume. Additionally, Firehawk was not French pre-Flashpoint.

@bonelesscomics1 Corrections: Mike calls the event preceding One Year Later *Identity* Crisis instead of *Infinite* Crisis. He later cites Identity Crisis as when Green Arrow kills Prometheus, when this event occurred in Cry for Justice, four years after “The Tornado’s Path.”

@JenLRossman But up until The Expanse, B5's space battles were the best in sci fi in terms of obeying actual physics - ships that move according to real physics in space, not like fighter planes in atmosphere.

@JenLRossman The amazing thing about B5 is that while the CGI is primitive by contemporary standards, somewhere in season one the story and characters become so engrossing you simply stop noticing any of the special effects (sets, costumes, CGI, whatever), and it all just becomes B5.
