@OnstageBlog Green Myrtle Beach. Unfortunately it’s a thinly veiled rip-off of Escape To Margaritaville. Never has a major debut, but it’s licensed by non-eq houses in tourist trap towns in rep with the likes of Something’s Afoot.
@UgotKOD@stevensantana88 [umm, actually] a “dive coaster” in this context is a specific model by a specific manufacturer, so it’s the first in a narrow category, there are plenty that go steeper already. It’s going to be a solid coaster no doubt, it’s just harder to get “firsts”
@ZeeBellies Sloppy phrasing on my part trying to be efficient. Did not mean to imply that I was surprised by women in the sport. (I’m not even in the scene at all) just started noticing a trend and didn’t know what was behind it.
@JeremyDGoodwin Cold War Kids’ “Lost That Easy” says, “I’ve wandered, seen visions,” but I still like the misheard, “I want to see visions,” better. That simple change builds a world where mysticism is common and the one without that ability is the outcast.
@TheRomanNick This is the type of joke you hear in a philosophy 101 course, but typically the professor will introduce the concept of “I think, therefore I am” first. I don’t like to tell it that way because I feel that’s putting Descartes before the horse.
