@LabBeyondCities Not inevitably, no, but it's also denying reality to say that in a whole host of industries that getting ahead doesn't require moving to a different part of the country where those jobs are clustered.
@charlotte2153 Not just industry, in life in general. I moved from Sunderland in the earlier 2010s to escape a life of short term work then dole. but I didn't become a big success, neither do most I know. But the fact remains, most stay and weather the ups and downs. Thats valuable.
