To quote Schlissel, in my retirement I have decided to “go rogue.” It was my pleasure to drag him, the Board of Regents and @UMich. Take a look: medium.com/@clairehao/gas…
I should note, I’m no longer affiliated with or involved in @michigandaily. This piece is fully me writing as an individual.
@clairehao_ @UMich Fully agree! As I long term victim of retaliations by the university for reporting misconducts by other at UM, I wished President Mark Schlissel stepping down as early as in 2016.
@clairehao_ @UMich Excellent points on consolidation of Regents' power and not getting distracted by this scandal while long-term imperatives need addressing...
@clairehao_ Your sadly solid point about "the public relations office that almost never directly answers the media’s questions" is reinforced anew, as @reporterdavidj of @freep illustrates today:
@clairehao_ @UMich I have never even stepped foot in Michigan but I have been following the Schlissel drama as I have seen Tweets about it in my feed. You know the situation is bad when this random person in San Diego (me) is reading Schlissel’s emails. 1/2
@clairehao_ @UMich Really, the only thing i disagree with you on is the well known fact debated by philosophers everywhere that retweets DO equal endorsements.
