Recovering from VR eye surgery - my 5th since September, I’m lying low on the sofa, dozily drifting in and out of sleep… by and by gazing out of the window. Just woke to see this rainbow, arching across the sky, raising my spirits way up high! A beautiful, multicoloured lullaby.

Our Fairy House has sprung a new doorknob! Enteridium lycoperdon. Like a magic spell, read out loud! It’s actually a Cauliflower Slime mould - unrelated to door knobs, fairies or vegetables! I still maintain, it’s ‘magic’ though! Fairy House? You say - more on that another day!

Yesterday, I shared a pallet of treasures, discovered in the wilds of our garden. Today, I returned the feathers to #nature, casting them like wishes into the wind. I wish, a Long-tailed tit will find them. Their beautifully intricate #nests are lined with up to 15,000 feathers!
