The driver of a semi truck that plowed into traffic along Interstate 70 near Denver, killing 4 people, has been convicted of vehicular homicide cnn.it/3p9CLqG
@cnnbrk China launched a nuclear capable missile around the world in low orbit. Yet, the media is not covering it.
@cnnbrk Driving 85 miles an hour with failing brakes
@cnnbrk Anyone remember “Ethan Couch, ‘Affluenza Teen’ Who Killed 4 While Driving Drunk, Is Freed”
@cnnbrk another terribly written article. This says his breaks failed. Why did he get convicted of VH?
@cnnbrk I almost died 2 times by semi in the same day Tuesday. Something is going on. Are they hiring just anyone. My car was damaged going 70mph by a loose concrete cylinder. My life flashed before my eyes. Another one just merged on the hwy during construction 🚧 without even looking.
@cnnbrk I understand there is a shortage but this will keep happening for note to truck company owners... HIRE BETTER PEOPLE!
@cnnbrk 1/2 On the day of the crash, Aguilera-Mederos drove his semitrailer full of lumber down I-70 at speeds in excess of 85 mph, forcing other vehicles off the road before smashing into standstill traffic under a bridge near Colorado Mills Parkway in Lakewood...
@cnnbrk This is stupid. It was a tragic accident, but people died so it has to be someone’s fault and in our society punishment is the same as justice.
@cnnbrk Would it have not been vehicular homicide if he was going 65? Or 70? I assume a similar outcome would have happened due to his breaks failing. I’m confused why he’s at fault here
