There are 13,000 players in FBS. 1,000 of them have entered the portal.
@dennisdoddcbs With coaches like Neon Deion treating college athletes like trash, it's not surprising. The coaches have no loyalty, so why should the players?
@dennisdoddcbs Good for the kids. Think if you were working for a company and a new company offers you a better comp package and someone came and told you that you can’t take it do the commitment you made previously.
@dennisdoddcbs Sounds like the term "student athlete" is now out the window.
@dennisdoddcbs Hopefully they'll remember that it's Education that's most important, Yes, Grid Iron is significant in their young adult life, but out of those 1000, how many aren't going to make career in NFL. They will live rest of their lives on what they do with College education.
@dennisdoddcbs What percentage actually land with a new FBS school? Wasn't it less than 50%?
@dennisdoddcbs One-third of all college students transfer at some point. 8% of FBS players transferring in one year seems comparable to the general student population.
@dennisdoddcbs That is awesome. I know it dispels the whole student athlete thing but please.
@dennisdoddcbs What fans love about college is following these guys as kids when they are 16-17 and then watch them commit, grow as young underclassmen into leaders as juniors (and sometimes seniors).
