Happy Wed! ☀️ working on Guardian column for next week -> what would you like to know about ‘living with COVID’ in 2022? Or should I instead share breakfast recipes 🥞 & fitness ideas 💪 ?
@devisridhar 'Living with Covid' is being forced upon many of us. I seem to remember that the whole point of Track and Trace was about playing 'Whack- a- mole' to knock cases down as they popped up. We are not at the endemic stage yet, I think it will end up creating more mutations.
@devisridhar How about how to thrive, or at least try to, during Covid? (That probably ends up being fitness and breakfast.) Oh the other hand there’s never been a better time to get to know the places where you live. I’m rambling. Thanks for all you do. 😊
@devisridhar Personally I would like to see more emphasis on the vulnerable in society now. Fair to assume that much of society will want to get on with thier lives. Many articles are about the general population, it is often assumed we are all covered now. That will not be the case for many.
@devisridhar What does that phrase actually mean for the disabled and clinically vulnerable? Haven’t heard any mention of either for a long time, but the “mental health of football fans” seems to have been addressed. Thanks!
@devisridhar @matthewrbroome How about the mental health and well being of kids during this time? We are finding things are very tough for the young ones and that is why we are on a mission to spread our message. Talk. Talk. Talk. wcab.co.uk
@devisridhar How 'living with covid' really means something different for vulnerable people and their unpaid carers - please.
@devisridhar Would love to know how we forecast to plan care & educating for children and young people living with #LongCovid #LongCovidKids
@devisridhar Yes please. If you could tell the public the truth about living with the virus in terms of mortality, morbidity, economic impacts, and on the vulnerable/young/old going forward. Also the differences bet living with it & letting it rip vs nuanced public health approach. Thanks 🙂
@devisridhar I would like to know about how many UK trusts have now upgraded to higher grade masks (FFP2/3) to protect their HCW’s from #airborne virus as well other mitigation measures Devi. Thanks.
