Many middle-class people want to buy a house and cannot afford to afford to buy a house in this economy. An economy where many gainfully employed middle-class people can’t buy a house is not a good economy, no matter what the pie charts say. This is not a “right-wing complaint.”
The dynamic on the left right now is that leftists are scrounging around for economic trends to be mad about, because their social circles only reward pessimism. But the economy is actually very good, so they're arriving at a set of essentially right-wing complaints
