@elephant12135 Reminds me of entangled Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen pairs. Observing one spin instantly "dictates" (or however quantum theory X wants to say it) the spin of the other, even though they might be lightyears away.
I'm just a bit too young to have met David Lewis. The closest I got was as a graduate student attending an event at Oxford after he died, in which his widow Steffi read out his final paper, 'Ramseyan Humility' (argues that physics doesn't tell us what physical properties are).
