A Nevada Republican who claimed someone stole his dead wife's ballot has been charged with voter fraud. wapo.st/2ZeroCT
@kylegriffin1 When someone dies, they should automatically be unregistered. When they turn 18, they should automatically be registered. I feel like there’s a way we can do that.
@barryjmenard @kylegriffin1 In the UK when you register the death they notify all government and local agencies so that you are removed from their records etc. They have a system set up to do it automatically.
@FChilderstone @barryjmenard @kylegriffin1 There's no reason we can't do that here in the states. In 2015, US Marshals, ATF agents, and Sheriff's Dept showed up at my apartment looking for the previous tenant who died in a car wreck a year prior. They insisted I knew where he was, and didnt believe my landlord and I.
@NotTheMmmBop @FChilderstone @barryjmenard @kylegriffin1 There is a reason not to do this, and it's because the Republicans know that dead voters "casting ballots" are their best hope for victory.
@gamerskin940 @FChilderstone @barryjmenard @kylegriffin1 That is not a valid reason. Pound sand.
@NotTheMmmBop @FChilderstone @barryjmenard @kylegriffin1 Not a valid reason, no, but it would be their reason to oppose such.
