There’s a trend I noticed in the last couple of weeks, and rightfully so, bashing call of duty warzone for lack of content, anti-cheat (or lack thereof), and overall less hype around the next cod release, with premise rumored to be around ww2.
All of this combined sure is frustrating to the genuine streamers and content creators. However, there are a few things I wanted to break down: a) the expectations from CoD is quite different than what you have from any other video game brands. Every major title gets stale…
whether they have yearly cycles or not but cod has to get it right because of its inherent competitive nature and community, and that’s what reflects in opinions of cod community (again rightfully so). b) CoD & Activision doesn’t have a regulatory body to comply with for any of..
creative game content (over simplification of ratings/reviews). As such it always will be a business decision that the companies are to assess and prioritize C) there is no incentive for the company to roll out all of their content at this time of the year. Frustrating, yes…
