You see…this is what i meant in my other tweet. I’m superrrrr here for the post baby body comments. With a caveat: Let’s talk about it in a normalizing way. That’s why I posted all those photos and wrote an essay! But no. Halsey karate chop 😅
@halsey I hate qualifiers I don’t tell people “you look great /for someone who’s had a baby/“ I just say “you look great” by the way Halsey - you look GREAT!
@halsey It's like the media selected reads what you say and then pick and choose which words they think will cause the most chaos 🙄🙄🙄
@halsey Everytime I read a headline now my mind will go "karate chop" and I'm so here for it 😂
@halsey My first two babies died of prematurity. For my third I was on bed rest for seven months. I gained weight. The weight gain ultimately ended my marriage, even after I went on a crash diet and exercise program - which reignited my old problem with anorexia.
@halsey The fact I just got this 102.7 notification before you tweeted lmao
@halsey Thank you for posting your amazing postpartum body! You delivered a precious babyand that shoud be the focus and that both of you are healthy. Instead the media wants to call these portraits of a real postpartum body unflattering. The media doesn’t know how to bestow honor.
