The USMNT now has a goal keeper controversy. #USMNT 🇺🇸 Gregg Berhalter has to deal with a problem he himself helped cause. The worst part? It was avoidable. youtu.be/TnCooy9mLks #FutbolAmericas @ESPNPlus #ESPNPlus @SebiSalazarFUT
@herculezg @ESPNPlus @SebiSalazarFUT Turner should be the starter until he loses that job based on quality of play right now
@herculezg @ESPNPlus @SebiSalazarFUT So it's a bad thing to have options? I guess you'd be ok if Steffen didn't play, Turner got hurt before the next round, Steffen had to play and had no chemistry with the defenders. Noted.
@herculezg @ESPNPlus @SebiSalazarFUT Where's the controversy?
@herculezg @ESPNPlus @SebiSalazarFUT There's no controversy. Turner is the better keeper, start him. Controversy solved.
@herculezg @ESPNPlus @SebiSalazarFUT Turner is who I go with, but either one works.
@herculezg @ESPNPlus @SebiSalazarFUT Turner plays for his club, Steffen doesn't. Not much to see here.
@herculezg @ESPNPlus @SebiSalazarFUT we don’t have a complete goalkeeper, we don’t have a Howard, Keller, or Friedel. Steffen, Horvath (he’s underrated), and Turner are all good, but if you had a tier system, none are tier 1 complete players, they’re more like tier 1.5 or 2. this is a position idk what to do.
@herculezg @ESPNPlus @SebiSalazarFUT Nah. A battle for the top job is a good thing - and has precedent with USMNT. Friedel and Keller battled for the top spot for years. Meola and Keller battled as well. I love Turner, but the reality is that if Steffen was getting games, he'd be the #1.
