SO INCREDIBLY PROUD to share 2 HUGE updates: 1) The first baby was born using @OrchidInc technology — and he’s super cute 🥰 2) I tested my own embryos with Orchid — we got SO much information & l feel confident now 🚀 This is the future of how babies will be born!
After my husband quit his medical practice we had to move 2 hours away so he could practice medicine outside the radius of his noncompete. His old employer STILL tried to sue us because "as the crow flies" his new job was slightly within bounds. This is such a sigh of relief.
Huge news for anyone working in tech in the US. Noncompetes are now banned: not just in California (like before), but nationwide. Very, very relevant for anyone at Amazon (which is the Big Tech that has enforced noncompetes even for low-level engineering positions).
The most engagement the @SJEarthquakes admin has seen all year was posting a pic of an elderly man and inferring I was going senile. John Fisher has the worst team in American baseball, and soccer. Quite the accomplishment. The Quake fans deserve more. So much more.

@holman I mean, I work for them, so take my recommendation with a grain of salt. But organized communication and not having to use Slack any longer were key reasons I applied to Doist in the first place. So yeah, big fan!
@holman I just got a new gig, and went from using Mattermost primarily to using Slack again. Modern Slack is distraction hell (I agree wrt unread notifications). I prefer Mattermost, but the ecosystem isn't as mature so it can be PITA to onboard external users, integrations, etc.
