Another brilliant animation from @theosanderson, this time showing the construction of England's towering immunity wall. So many stories packed into one graphic. The different vaccine phases, the waves of infections, a bit of waning, and the incredible effectiveness of boosters.

It's also another demonstration of how much insightful data we have in the UK on Covid, in this instance from @ONS. In most countries, representative data on antibody prevalence either doesn't exist or is months old. I think most people fail to realise how special this data is.
@jburnmurdoch @theosanderson Is "towering immunity wall" really the right term to use when we know immunity fades relatively rapidly after the 2nd and 3rd jabs? This doesn't seem to meet your usual data-driven standards.
@jburnmurdoch @theosanderson Given current case rates, not to mention deaths, seems strange to see 'England's towering immunity wall'.
@jburnmurdoch @theosanderson Absolutely love this - watched it over and over. I finally imagined it could send me to Nirvana if it changed colour temperature as the underlying infection waves came and went - as if it was “breathing” ;-)
@jburnmurdoch @theosanderson Although interesting to see its already starting to wane from its peak. We definitely need a second generation of vaccines with longer lasting immunity.
@jburnmurdoch + The greater efficacy of initial Pfizer and 4-week gap, and the lesser efficacy of 12-week gap. *Just for antibody levels
@jburnmurdoch @theosanderson Wait until they find out 'antibodies' are not correlate's of protection.
@jburnmurdoch @theosanderson Y not just plot a 3d graph 🤷🏻♂️
