Scrapping tuition fees would cost £7 billion. Don’t let them tell you that’s ‘unaffordable’. Remember, the rich added £107 billion to their wealth during the pandemic. Scrap fees now.
@jon_trickett You can't just stealth wealth because there's something good you could spend it on.
@jon_trickett Local Uni looks sad & uninviting for young student atm - not the vibrant exciting place it was before pandemic - fees should be scrapped
@jon_trickett While the ruling class run the country the transfer of wealth via public funds will only go one way. To them as it always has.
@jon_trickett @derekrootboy what would be a good start would be stop charging 6% interest fees on student loans, at least this would save young people money, and bring back Nurses burseries
@jon_trickett Is 7billion the “book”value or the written down value taking into account the ever gaping black hole in gov. finances
@jon_trickett @GetBrexit_Done Tell me you're a Labour MP without saying you're a Labour MP
@jon_trickett Brexit has cost £200 billion
@jon_trickett Yes...lets all pay for privileged middle class kids to go to university, sod the working class kids that barely even get a GCSE let alone get to uni, we can always do what we normally do, chuck them on the out of work scrapheap to claim benefits that they can barely live on! FFS!
