At Orka Natturunnar geothermal in Iceland. Human ingenuity knows no bounds on.is/en/about-us/po…
@jordanbpeterson Hope you have a great time. Has someone told you about what they're doing at @CarbFix ? An Icelandic venture, essentially turning CO2 into stone. May turn out to be an important contributing factor to a happy future for mankind.
@jordanbpeterson These things work beautifully when you’re living on top of a massive volcano.
@jordanbpeterson Ooooo. Iceland! We were there in January. I do hope you’re going to the Retreat at the blue lagoon. It’s incredible!
@jordanbpeterson From quick search looks like Snorri had a farmhouse compound heated and supplied hot water by a nearby spring. Compound looks to be still standing to this day. I wonder if the earlier Norse settlers used geothermal in a similar way.
@jordanbpeterson We need more people not less. When we're down to a small number of masters and slaves who will do the inventing?
@jordanbpeterson - Yup. Everything starts with renewable energy. With the right RE mix, and raw materials, we can build and power everything we need on Earth, and have enough left over to colonize MARS! -
