Gannon has given his DC Nick Rallis the freedom to run that side of the ball but wants to be kept in the loop. "I did not want a copy and paste job from Philly bc there's things that I wanna see done better and things that you need in 2023 that we didn't need in 2021 and 22."

Jonathan Gannon would not put a timeline on Kyler Murray's return "because you're always wrong when you do that. So, whenever he's ready to play, he'll play." Gannon wants Murray to be fully ready both physically and mentally before returning.

Kyler Murray was in Dallas last week checking in with his surgeon, Jonathan Gannon said. Gannon added that Murray is ready to go to the next phase of his rehab.

Expanding on the team's decision to part ways with long-time trainer Tom Reed, Jonathan Gannon said "we're looking at that room completely and make sure that it's operating from a standpoint of that's what's best for the players." He said a change was necessary.

Asked about what changes the Cardinals have made since the NFLPA survey came out, Gannon said "we've made some big-time changes already. I'm not gonna get in too much of it, but food, weight room, facilities, contracts. Michael's been fantastic. I mean, he really has."

Jonathan Gannon said Isaiah Simmons received "good news" about his health. "He's gonna be here and excited, ready to go," Gannon said.

Jonathan Gannon, sticking with his flexibility theme, said the Cardinals will fit their scheme around the players on the roster compared to fitting players into their scheme.

In his first comments since Arizona signed a handful of free agents, Jonathan Gannon said he's "excited" about the Cardinals' free agency class. "I feel like we added some really good pieces," Gannon said. He added that versatility was a priority in FAs.
